·       City Plan Commission recommendation re: Approve annexation requests for 5 parcels located along Duluth Ave. and recommend temporary zoning. The properties are located in the Town of Nasewaupee & have pre-annexation agreements with the City. The pre-annexation agreements allowed the properties to have sewer and water service in exchange for a promise to annex into the City at a later date. The recommendation is for C-1 zoning for the Sherwin Williams parcel and R-2 zoning for the 4 remaining residential properties. Based upon last year's assessed values and tax rates, it is estimated the 5 parcels would generate about $5,500 in City tax revenue. Under state law, for 5 years the City must pay to the Town of Nasewaupee the town portion of the taxes paid in the year prior to the annexation. This amounts to $675 for a 5-year total of about $3,375.
