Door County

Liberty Grove Town: The Town Board will meet at 7 PM on Wednesday, 04 June. Agenda items:

·       Building permits—extensions
·       Plan commission recommendation: Variance: addition on rear of existing residence, approx. 58' from ordinary high water mark, Brian Bartel at 11749 Porcupine Bay Road (parcel owned by Charles Adams)

·       Sanitary District #1: request to add territory—set hearing date
·       Estimate for remediation of USPO/old fire station building at 12055 Garrett Bay Road—Till Associates Consultants & Engineers

·       Resolution: designating hours for board of review
·       Resolution: appoint clerk/administrator to board of review
·       Ordinance: appoint alternate members of board of review

Kewaunee County

Kewaunee County: Notice of vacancy in Town of West Kewaunee; Ward 1, Town of Pierce; Ward 1, City of Kewaunee, Ward 1. If interested, submit a letter of interest along with a resume, to Edward J. Dorner, County Administrator at: Kewaunee Co. Administration Center, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee by 4 PM 26 June.

Algoma City: The Common Council will hold public hearings on Monday, 02 June at 5:15 PM for:

·       Vacate a portion of Dier Ave. from County S to the SW corner of Lot 11, Block 1 and the SE corner of Lot 3, Block 2.

·       Removal sidewalk on the north side of Adams St. from Flora Ave. to Frank Ave.

Town of Casco: A public hearing will held on Thursday, 12 June at 7:30 PM by the Casco Town Board of Appeals Committee with the on-site viewing of the property of Larry A. & Debra A. Heling. After viewing the property, the committee will meet at the Casco Town Hall. They are requesting to build a garage addition closer than town ordinance setbacks. Variance request is for approx. 62' from Co. Road C.

Franklin Town: A public hearing will be held on Monday, 09 June at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall to hear:

·       A request by Steven Wochos to rezone a 5 acre parcel from A-1 farmland to A-2 residential
·       A request from Susan Wochos to rezone a 5 acre parcel from A-1 farmland to A-2 residential.

Kewaunee City: The assessment roll for the City of Kewaunee will be open for inspection from 09 June to 13 June from 8 AM to 4:30 PM at City Hall. The Assessor for the city will be present on Thursday, 12 June from 3 – 5 PM and Saturday, 14 June from 10 AM to 12 noon.

Kewaunee City: The Board of Review will hold its adjourned meeting on Thursday, 19 June from 1 – 3 PM at City Hall. 

Lincoln Town: The Town Planning Commission will meet at 7 PM on Wednesday, 04 June. The will hear a request from Bug Tussel Wireless on behalf of Daniel Wautlet for a conditional use permit to construct a 300' high guyed tower. The tower would be used to support antennas for multiple users, primarily cellular companies.

Pierce Town: The Town Plan Commission will meet on Tuesday, 17 June at 7 PM at the Pierce Town Hall. The commission will hear a request from the Town of Pierce to correct a mapping error, (Tax Parcel 31 016 19.028) The parcel needs to be rezoned from R-1 Residential to A-2 General Agricultural to be consistent with lot size requirement.
