International Upper Great Lakes Study: Over 150 attended a meeting last week to hear a presentation on Great Lakes water levels. Door County

Egg Harbor Village: The village adopted an outdoor lighting ordinance which is intended to reduce problems created by improperly designed and installed outdoor lights. The ordinance covers commercial, municipal and residential outdoor lighting. Existing lighting would be grandfathered according to Village President Nancy Fisher.

Egg Harbor Village: A DNR hearing has been scheduled for Monday, 30 June at 10 AM in the Bertschinger Center on the village's request for permits to rebuild the municipal marina. Options presented by JJR marine design include rebuilding the existing seawall or constructing a new wall encompassing a larger marina. Owners of the Peninsula Shores condominiums object to a portion of the new marina design because of possible encroachment on the waters in front of their homes. (Source: Door County Advocate)

Jacksonport Town: The Town Board will meet on Tuesday, 24 June at 7 PM in the Town Hall/Fire Station. Agenda items:

·       Ordinance No. 2008-05 Jacksonport Zoning Amendment Century Property Management Group
·       Final review of the Beach Storm Water Management, Lakeside Beach
·       Town roads
·       Door Co. Tourism Zone Commission—The Commission is recommending an amended version dated 28 May 2008.

Liberty Grove Plan Commission: Will meet on Monday, 23 June at 7 PM in the Town Hall. Agenda items:

·       Proposed zoning changes west of Hwy 42—Jim Seaquist
·       Outdoor recreation plan—review and comment
·       Comprehensive Plan Implementation: including information for 07 July meeting with landowners regarding proposed changes.

Liberty Grove Sanitary District #1: A hearing will be held at the Liberty Grove Town Hall, 11161 Old Stage Road, Sister Bay on 02 July at 5 PM re: the extension of the boundaries of the LG Sanitary Dist. #1. A map of the proposed extension and related documents may be viewed at the Town Hall.

Sturgeon Bay School Board: The school supports the Boys & Girls Club but is not in favor of losing Jaycee Field to build a center. The Boys & Girls Club has proposed a building on the Jaycee Field site. The school's athletic director is attending City Council and Parks and Recreation committee meetings to monitor the situation.

Kewaunee County

Eric & Cyndi Lucia, N6140 School Creek Rd., Luxemburg has applied to the DNR to construct a larger culvert in an unnamed tributary to School Creek. The DNR revoked the previous permit for the existing culvert because it was undersized and causing flooding and damage to the environment. Casco Town: Open Book of the assessment roll for 2008 will be on Tuesday, 01 July from 6-9 PM at the Town Hall in Slovan.

Casco Town: Board of Review for 2008 will be on Wednesday, 09 July from 6-8 PM at the Town Hall in Slovan.

Casco Town: The Town Board will meet on 23 June at 7:30 PM at the Town Hall in Slovan.

Kewaunee City: The City Water Utility will be flushing the water mains beginning Monday, 23 June and ending Friday, 27 June.

Lincoln Town: Will review the Town Comprehensive Plan at a public hearing and recommend to the Town Board to adopt or amend the plan. Meeting will be held at the Town Hall on 07 July at 6:30 PM. The Town Board will meet following the public hearing.

Luxemurg-Casco School Board: Will meet Monday, 23 June at 7 PM in the LC Intermediate School Conference Room. The board will adjourn to executive session to deliberate or negotiate the purchase of public properties. Luxemburg Town: The Town Board will meet on 25 June at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall.

Luxemburg Town: The Board of Review and Open Book will take place on 30 June at the Luxemburg Town Hall.

Board of Review from 10-12 Noon and 1-5 PM and from 6 PM to close. 30 June

Luxemburg Village: The Village Board will hold a public hearing at the Luxemburg Municipal Office Building on Tuesday, 08 July at 7:30 PM for the purpose of amending the Traffic Code to create a local ordinance for making Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV) street legal.

Red River Town: A public hearing will be held at the Town Hall on Wednesday, 02 July at 7:30 PM. Jo-Anne & Jamie Jo Fameree, E2268 Fameree Rd., Luxemburg, is requesting a zoning change to rezone 34 acres from A-1 Ag, from A-3 Ag.
